Manufacturers of sustainable products enliven Food Ingredients Asia 2024. These products utilize natural ingredients from sustainable ecosystem sources, providing long-term benefits for the economy, society, and the environment.

Billy Laurence, Managing Director of PT Natura Perisa Aroma (NPA), a sustainable product manufacturer, said that his company only uses raw materials from sustainable ecosystems. This is achieved through the creation of a sustainable ecosystem, starting with the procurement of seeds through partnerships that grow and develop together with farmers as suppliers.

With its business unit Nekaboga, a producer of food ingredients and natural flavorings, and Nekaroma, a producer of essential oils, NPA participated in the prestigious Food Ingredients (FI) Asia 2024 event in Jakarta on September 4-6.

"Since its inception, our company has always been consistent in using various natural ingredients. We have a proven track record in providing various industries with high-quality products and services. We also supply spices, herbs, aroma chemicals (aromatic compounds), and essential oils to food manufacturers, food service providers, non-food industries, and retail companies," said Billy.

He added that with more than 30 years of experience, Nekaboga provides a wide range of products, all of which are sourced from natural ingredients and processed using modern technology.

In addition to Nekaboga, there is Nekaroma, which produces essential oils. Currently, all Nekaboga and Nekaroma products have obtained FSSC 22000 certification.

This certification is an internationally recognized standard for food safety, protecting brands and safeguarding public health, as food safety hazards and incidents frequently occur at every stage of the food supply chain. (E-2).
